Guernsey Lake State Forest Campground

    Campground Features: Parking, Rustic, Developed Boat Access

    Guernsey Lake State Forest Campground offers rustic camping, lake access, and hiking opportunities. The water frontage on the northeast end of Lake Guernsey provides visitors with access to the lake for boating and fishing. The campground is also adjacent to the Sand Lakes Quiet Area and has access to the Sand Lakes Quiet Area Pathway, a 10-mile trail for nature observation, hiking, and mountain biking.

    There are 36 sites for tent and small trailer use, including some walk-in sites for hikers. All are available on a first-come, first-serve basis for a camping fee of $13. No reservations are taken. Vault toilets and potable water from a well hand pump are available. For more information about park activities, please visit the MDNR website.
