Lake Township Park

    Park Features: Parking, Fee, ADA Accessible, Restrooms, Picnicking, Developed Boat Access

    This community park has 300 feet of frontage along the Platte River. It is located next to the National Park's facilities. The park has picnic tables, grills, benches, and a boat launch. A township user fee is required and an Automated Fee Station is located on site.

    This is also the location of Platte Point Beach. is located where the Platte River flows into Lake Michigan. It is the terminus of many tubing, canoeing, or kayaking trips. The river is shallow and flows rapidly at this point.
