Mack Lake Campground provides access to some of the best ATV trails in Michigan. Rolling jack pine plains, which provide nesting habitat for the endangered Kirtland's Warbler, surrounds the 175-acre lake. The campground is scenic and secluded. Beaver Loop is an area of the campground that affords year-round access. Each campsite features a picnic table and fire ring. Restrooms and drinking water are available. A developed swimming beach and picnic area with grills make for a pleasant day destination. Because the lake is so shallow, fishing is marginal. Fish species include northern pike and pan fish. No developed launching facility offered.
White Pine Loop offers a group site featuring 2 vault toilet buildings, 1 hand pump, 3 picnic tables and 2 fire rings. Reservations are required for group camping. Groups are welcome from mid-May to mid-September. Call 517-685-8255 for reservations.
