South Boardman Nature Preserve

Natural or Wildlife Viewing Features: Natural Area

The South Boardman Nature Preserve encompasses 110 acres at the Headwaters of the South Branch of the Boardman River. The preserve protects sensitive wetland and riperian ecosystems from development. A trail takes you through the woods and along the headwaters. A trailhead is on Butler Road just south of the village of South Boardman. The first 700 feet from Butler Road are handicapped accessible. There is also access to the preserve off of Larson Road.
