Lake Country Tour
Visitors following this scenic route will be experiencing and exploring many of the County’s unique attractions that include, riding along 8-miles of pristine Lake Superior shoreline; passing by the old Ford company town of Pequaming; rolling through the historic Finnish, Swedish and Native American settlements of Aura, Skanee and Zeba; driving past the road leading to Mt. Arvon – Michigan’s highest natural point; as well as wandering past three different sets of waterfalls.
Brochures providing details on the 18+ attractions along the route are available at the Convention and Visitors Bureau Information Center located on U.S. Hwy 41 or found in a weatherproof box mounted on the large wooden Lake & Country Tour sign located at the L’Anse Waterfront Park.
