N Missaukee Trail & Route, Miss-Kal Route, US-131

This trail is good for Horseback Riding ORV Trails/Routes Motorcycling

This trail is located southwest of Grayling and south of Kalkaska. VVMapping says, "ORV Trail. Generally sandy on rolling to flat wooded terrain. Some whoops. Linear trail. North Missaukee #1 and #2 are loops off of the main trail and are motorcycle-only. The cycle-only trails are relatively new and very tight."

"ORV Route. Varies from mostly flat & sandy to rolling and hard-packed. New Routes and additions (2010-2011) provide for mulitple loop and destination options." Go to VVMapping for trail maps!

Note: ORV Routes are maintained at a width of 72 inches and are open to all ORVs. ORV Trails are open only to ORVs up to 50” in width. Motorcycle Trails are maintained at a width of 24” on the ground and 40” at handlebar height (only 2-wheeled motorcycles are allowed to operate). The Michigan Cross Country Cycle Trail (MCCCT) are connector trails and roads that link different trail systems together in the Lower Peninsula.
