North Country Trail - north segment

This trail is good for Hiking XC Skiing

The North Country Trail is a scenic hiking trail that stretches 4,600 miles from North Dakota to New York. The trail extends 1,150 miles through Michigan; passing through the UP, across the Straights of Mackinac, down the western side of the Lower Peninsula, and heading southeast towad Ohio across southern Michigan. 

 

This section of the trail is maintained by the Harbor Springs Chapter and the Jordan Valley 45 Chapter. The surface type and width varies significantly.
