Combined, there are 201-acres of protected property spanning more than two miles of the Jordan River. From mixed hardwood and conifer swamp to upland savannahs, the preserves encompass a diversity of habitats.
Accessed from Rogers Road, the Rogers Family Homestead has an easy, 1.5 mile trail system. Parking is on Rogers Road between M-32 and M-66 southeast of East Jordan.
Another way to enjoy the property is by non-motorized boat. Just upstream of the preserve border is a public access site. Paddlers can launch here and follow the river to East Jordan.
