Stutsmanville Bog
Stutsmanville Bog
Stutsmansville Bog Nature Preserve is a 65-acre natural area with a short trail to an overlook of Stutsmansville Bog. The preserve is one of the best examples of a fen or peatland area in northern Michigan. The 1/4 mile trail leads from the parking area to the bog overlook and has interpretive signs. Due to the sensitivity of this ecosystem, visitors are asked to stay on the trail.
The preserve is located about five miles north of Harbor Springs along South State Road (C-77).
